Here's what I do

Web Development

UI design of websites and web applications

Full Stack Development Primarily in JavaScript and Python Frameworks Vue, React, Flask and Django

Test Driven Development practices such as writing unit and integration tests using Jest, Mocha and Chai and built in testing libraries

Quality Assurance

Using ISTQB principles as an ISTQB Certified Software Tester

Manual and automated testing using Selenium and other end to end tools like Cypress

Test documentation and working with testing tools such as LambdaTest and Postman for API testing

Other Skills

Managing teams and training others to produce quality work in development and QA

Working in an Agile environment as well as working remotely and using project management and communication tools such as Jira, ClickUp, Slack, Zoom, Google Meet

Get to know me

My background

I officially started coding in 2019 when I joined a 6 month coding and web development bootcamp. Since then I've worked my way up to a team leader position at my alma mater where we train and provide work experience to interns who have completed their coding and web development course. I've worked in front end, full stack development, worked with some RPA and more recently QA.

Why I'm blogging
